Mysterious Woods
Mysterious Woods is a deeply wooded area of Connecticut with lots of hidden ponds. The artist lived in a hand hewn home on this peaceful pond while attending art school. Gazing out the window left a lasting impression as seen in this depiction of this pond surrounded by trees devoid of their summer greenery. The ponds freeze in the winter making for some wonderfully beautiful scenes to capture on paper.

Pea Pod Boat
This was a commission for a North Carolina couple that saw this boat in Martha’s Vineyard where the artist resided summers while attending art schools in New England. They loved the look of the boat with the wood inside it resembled a “pea pod”.
