To broaden her depth of knowledge, award winning artist Lynn Buettner, attended several prestigious art schools including: Rhode Island School of design, The New York Art Student’s League, Paier College of Art in Connecticut, and Massachusetts College of Art in Boston.
While cultivating her skills on Martha’s Vineyard, and still in school, Lynn’s work quickly became known and collected by the local residents and returning island guests. Most originals were sold while still on the easel and while her reputation grew it became more difficult to keep up with the demand. She now shares her work by offering high quality gicleé canvas reproductions that have the look and feel of her original paintings.
For more than twenty-five years Lynn Buettner has built a reputation as a bright, passionate artist who continually surprises clients and supporters with her great versatility.
With scenes ranging from realist and Impressionist to surreal, Ms. Buettner has shown her mastery of color and technique in a body of work that has appeared in some of the best known galleries in North America and can also be found in private collections worldwide. Her work is also featured in television shows and movies such as “The Nash Bridges Show” and “The Diary of a Middle Aged Housewife”.
After teaching adults both privately and in groups over the last twenty years, Ms. Buettner created a very popular after-school art program called “Creative Expressions” for children in Encinitas, California. She now employs local artists to teach the program so she can focus on her exciting new projects.
Tapping the reservoir of art that she has created over the last twenty-five years, Lynn now shares her art worldwide with the launching of a new line of unique collectable greeting cards with magnet backing, photo magnet frames, prints and other products.
